1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the access to and use of the StudySprint learning platform and any related services. By registering for an account or using the Service, users agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

StudySprint provides a digital learning platform that allows users to upload study materials and generate learning content such as flashcards using automated processes. The Service is intended to support learning but does not guarantee any specific learning outcome.

3. Account Registration

Use of the Service requires the creation of a personal user account. Users must provide accurate and complete information and are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

Users are responsible for all activities that occur under their account. If there is any suspicion of unauthorized access, the Service Provider must be informed immediately.

The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. User Content

Users remain fully responsible for all content they upload to the platform. By uploading content, users confirm that they hold the necessary rights and that no third-party rights are violated.

By uploading content, users grant the Service Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, store, process, and modify such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

The Service Provider does not review user content and assumes no liability for uploaded materials. Content may be removed at any time at the discretion of the Service Provider.

5. Paid Services and Subscriptions

Certain features of StudySprint require a paid subscription. Fees, billing periods, and available payment methods are displayed during the purchase process.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Users may cancel their subscription at any time with effect at the end of the billing period.

The Service Provider reserves the right to change pricing, subscription models, or included features with effect for future billing periods.

6. Service Availability

The Service Provider may temporarily restrict or suspend access to the Service for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. Availability cannot be guaranteed at all times.

7. Liability

The Service Provider is liable only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct. No liability is assumed for learning success, exam results, or the accuracy of generated content.

Users are responsible for reviewing and validating all generated learning content before use.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Where applicable under European Union law, consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for distance contracts, unless this right has been waived for digital content.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

10. Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
